The Breif
Zibibbo, a new restaurant, bar, and lifestyle store in Glasgow’s iconic Princes Square, needed a full brand identity and digital presence that matched its fresh, cool concept.
Building on the success of their sister venues Ralph & Finn’s and Malo, the client entrusted Voom with developing the brand from scratch, managing their social media, PR communications, and launch strategy.
The goal was to establish Zibibbo as a go-to destination for dining, wine, and lifestyle goods, generating excitement and awareness leading up to its grand opening.
How We Delivered
Brand Creation
Voom created Zibibbo’s entire brand identity, including its logo, fonts, and color palette. Drawing inspiration from the Zibibbo grape and the venue’s all-day dining concept, we developed a modern, , and approachable brand that reflected its Mediterranean influences and lifestyle offering.
Social Media Launch & Management
We launched Zibibbo’s social media channels, crafting a consistent voice and aesthetic for the Instagram page. Our strategy included visually striking content showcasing Zibibbo’s transformation, menu highlights, and introducing the team.
PR Campaign
To build anticipation, we orchestrated a pre-launch PR campaign that achieved over 52 pieces of coverage in key targeted publications, including Glasgow Live, The Times, Glasgow Times, Dram, The Herald, and more. We even secured multiple mentions on the popular podcast A Lot on Your Plate, which highlights the best dining experiences in Scotland and beyond.
Christmas Launch Activation
During Princes Square’s annual Christmas Lights Switch-On, we created a branded candy cart experience, distributing candy canes and exclusive invitations for visitors to return for complimentary drinks. This activation attracted over 500 visitors, generated 300 landing page clicks, and resulted in 1,000 new Instagram followers in a single day.
Grand Opening Event
To kick off Zibibbo’s launch weekend, we hosted an exclusive launch party featuring canapés, cocktails, live music by DJ Jaime Gunn, and a guest list of press and local influencers. This event created a significant buzz, adding over 500 followers and ensuring a fully booked opening weekend.
